Lee Williams

I was born in Turkey, where my dad was stationed as an Air Force chaplain.  When he retired, we moved to Virginia and that’s where I grew up.  I met my husband, Jim, when we were both students at the University of Virginia.  We moved around a bit, eventually settling down in Chelmsford where our daughter and son were born.  We joined Aldersgate UMC in 2002 and I’ve enjoyed being a part of this wonderful church family ever since.

As our children grew older, I became more involved in the children’s activities here at Aldersgate.  I helped teach the 1st-2nd grade Church School class and volunteered during Vacation Bible School.  I especially enjoyed making crafts with children to help them connect with a Bible story we were learning about.  I recently joined the staff here as Director of Christian Education and I look forward to helping children, youth and adults learn and grow in their faith.

Some of my favorite hobbies are taking morning walks, reading, and growing vegetables in our church garden.
